SIMULIA PowerFLOW Suite

  • By leveraging our unique, inherently transient Lattice Boltzmann-based physics, PowerFLOW performs fluid flow simulations that accurately predict real-world conditions.

  • PowerFLOW imports fully complex model geometry and accurately and efficiently performs aerodynamic, aeroacoustic and thermal management simulations.

What’s New

PowerFLOW has recently introduced a new hybrid solver method. This uses the Transonic solver with high-order multilayer lattices only in specific regions with high-speed Transonic flow, while using the High-subsonic solver with a regular single-layer-speed lattice in the rest of the simulation domain containing low-speed flows. This makes the hybrid solver accurate and robust, while also reducing the computational cost and simulation time required.
