Electric mobility is poised for growth in Asia. According to Meticulous Research, the region’s market is on its way to reaching a market size of $2,688.23 billion by 2028.
Despite supporting the fight against climate change, developing electric vehicles (EVs) is not without its challenges, such as cost, product and environmental compliance, and cross-function collaboration. In accordance with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, we must continue the conversation to “ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy” by 2030.
Therefore, as a critical enabler of vehicle electrification, Dassault Systèmes participated as the platinum sponsor for the Future Mobility Asia (FMA) 2022 event, an exhibition aimed at driving the mobility transition and transformation in Asia.
As part of FMA 2022’s steering committee members, Guillaume Gerondeau, Vice President, Transportation & Mobility Industry, Asia, represented Dassault Systèmes to actively co-create this vital industry event.
Guillaume participated as a panellist in the FMA 2022 launch on 31 March 2022 to share his views on ‘Jumpstarting ASEAN Clean Mobility Ambition’.
On 26 May 2022, Guillaume also moderated a panel of experts from leading automotive companies to discuss several challenges in reducing costs and developing cleaner, smarter and safer vehicles in the new era of mobility.
